We couldn’t have done it without our amazing employees and we’re especially proud to have been nominated whilst retaining our unique culture and people focus under our Build Future mantra
CloudThing are delighted to announce that last month we were nominated for not one, but three awards!
It goes without saying that we’d have been humbled to be nominated for just one of these… to be nominated for all three has left us without words.
Making it on to all these shortlists (and fingers crossed winning!) would, of course, not be possible without the people that make up the cloudThing family.
It’s a testament to each and every one of them, the hard work they put in on a daily basis, the strategy that guides our day to day activities and the Build Future ethos that’s at the core of everything we do.
The first two shortlisted awards, CEO of the year and Tech for Good Award, are both part of the UK tech Awards 2020.
The final award, Digital Agency of the Year comes from our work with the not-for-profit sector and is part of the Third Sector Digital Awards.
The UK Tech Awards stated aim is to celebrate success and reward achievement which is why it’s such an honour to even be nominated.
The criteria behind the nomination for CEO of the Year was…
Having a clear passion for the tech industry, be an inspirational role model, determined and motivated with a strong vision and flair. They provide that vital ingredient that has helped with the company’s success, inspire everyone around them and will be a prominent figure in the industry.
Whilst the criteria for the Tech for Good Award is…
Today’s customers expect businesses to deliver positive social and environmental outcomes as well as commercial value. The purpose of this award is to recognise non-financial contributions to society through the use of technology. The company that has harnessed the power of technology to deliver beneficial social, cultural and/or environmental outcomes. It could be the foundation of the entire ethos of the company or a specific initiative that is generating positive results in the community.
The Third Sector award is new for 2020 and aim to reflect the transformational role that digital now plays in the charity and voluntary sector.
The awards recognise excellence by celebrating projects that have shown innovation in this space. Whether the project has increased digital fundraising, improved brand, developed distinction from similar charities or in any way dramatically improved the organisations performance.
