Microsoft have just announced a pretty big expansion to Microsoft Teams
Microsoft have just announced they’ll be rolling out an exciting update for their Microsoft Teams collaboration tool that will increase the number of people viewable on screen to over double the current amount.
At the moment only four people can be seen on Microsoft Teams at once, even if there are more than that on the call.
Which is why Microsoft announced yesterday that the number of participants in a call would be increased to nine.
The announcement should have been welcome news… and was to many on Twitter.
However, many were quick to point out that they wanted/needed more.
Microsoft Teams main competitor, Zoom, despite the fact they’ve been suffering from bad press over the security of their app, can display up to 49 users at once.
The update allowing for nine participants to be viewed at once should be available by the end of April according to Microsoft’s announcement which finished with this intriguing teaser…
9 participants is just the beginning. We won’t stop till our users can see *all* participants in the meeting at the same time.
Lots more innovation coming
